The Leibniz Research Network Biodiversity (Leibniz Biodiversity) is a Leibniz research network initially established by the committee of the Leibniz Association on July 1, 2012 until initially April 14, 2024. 18 Leibniz Institutes in the Leibniz Association are currently members of Leibniz Biodiversity.

The Leibniz Association is a non-profit organisation whose members are the 97 Leibniz Institutes. The Leibniz Institutes are legally, financially and thematically independent. The association is headquartered in Berlin.
